we ate here 16 years ago and loved it and made here again a reservation for this trip. I was a little hesitant on the basis of some terrible new reviews, but we had another great experience. we love eating it on the piazza, our eating was great, and our service was good.

we reserved a table for lunch: none was available when we arrived. we waited for 5 minutes while a table was clarified and ready for us we made two courses: what was served was not what we had ordered. when this was acknowledged, the correct order was served, but until this stage my wife had long ended her second cursor. we have gone without further delay. a prominent position on the piazza navona should be accompanied by excellent eating and excellent service: neither was obvious during this visit, and we stayed with the impression that tre scalini has become unstoppable at nr. 28.

We reserved a table for lunch: none was available when we arrived. We waited for 5 minutes while a table was cleared and ready for us. We ordered two courses: what was served was not what we had ordered. When this was acknowledged, the right order was used, but at this stage my wife had long completed her second course. We just left.
