The breakfast meal I ordered, pancakes/eggs/bacon, also a slice of pumpkin pie and a chocolate milkshake all looked great. 10/10 for photogenic food. However as far as taste, 4/10. The texture of the pancakes is dense, extremely concentrated and heavy. If you are expecting pancakes to be like they are in America (as advertised) you will be disappointed. The bacon is limp and greasy, it’s also the wrong texture. The eggs were fine. The pie filling was good. The flavor and texture of the pumpkin filling was spot on! The crust unfortunately was bread-like, not the thin, crisp short crust you expect with a fruit pie. The service was good. There was only two women working serving the entire restaurant indoor and outdoor, so service is a bit slow, but completely understandable. The women there were working very hard and the pace of the service is on par with most Roman restaurants. The breakfast food textures have missed the mark while nailing the look. I do want to give Pops another go to try the lunch menu. We’ll see how that goes!
