la sciusella is a small and cozy restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. the menu is mainly vegan with some vegetarian dishes. we enjoyed everything we had. we'll be back!

the restaurant is located in the north and it is quite cool in the inner during the winter, but the vegetarian set menu for christmas was excellent and relatiw cheap considered the amount of food (3 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 main plus dessert, water and coffee for only 38 euro.) the vegan main course was not great because it used some eclectic vegan mozzarella. the service was a little slow. I want to go back to check the a la carte menu because the quality of the ingredients was very high.

we ordered for a home delivery and chose our dinner from a wide vegan menu (they have vegan and vegetarian choices separated.) I know that they also have the dishes of the day and it is a pity that they are not available on the homepage of the home delivery. Anyway, we chose the many baked earlylings roll (with carrots, carrots, soy sauces, soy sauces and sour sauces), that was delicious, the kartoffels with yellow and violet carrots and cuts, that was nice. we also had the lasagna with lauch cream and mandela (it was nice, but the part was too small) we had pistacchio millefoglie and millefoglie with orange cream for dessert: the pistacchio cream of the first dish was good, but the orange was tooo acid and the teig texture was totally flakcinated, we didn't like it. it seems to me that they are not yet prepared for home delivery, because the boxes we received were not appropriate to be worn as they were covered with aluminium foil and they did not have their lid lid, at least the driver was able to bring them without damage, even if the food came a little cold. I think eating was good enough, even if they could improve some dishes, but I found that the prices are a bit too high for the portions we received. update november 2019: we had a few take-away food from la sciuscella, and we were so satisfied by eating ourselves and by the ease of the owner. I add a star updated by previous review on 2019-02-24

Staying around the corner on a business trip and found this lovely gem of a restaurant. Excellent food and very lovely service. We went back for dinner even better! Starter Tasting plates highly recommended . Risotto was delicate and tasty. Vegan Tiramisu excellent.
