very sweet hole in the wall with an amazing pizza. the prices were quite cheap and many natives. absolutely recommend this place!
the two female server were attentive, very human and polite. the food was representative for this region, was freshly prepared and hot. the building where the restaurant is located is one of the oldest in como; but it is obviously great pain to update the location and get the historical attribute. worth the visit!
what a grandiose sound! a simple walk from the hilton hotel. we enjoyed a pleasant house red wine with our generous bowl of mussels, and our delicious entree choices of sea bass with zucchini and pine kerne, tagliotini con ragu cinghiale and a side spinat. and although we were the tourist, it was so refreshing to feed in a non-tourist restaurant. Molto bene!
First off, the decor is beautiful and romantic. The building has a very long history dating back to medieval times. The staff was personable and efficient. We started with the bruschetta which was delightful. My wife ordered the sea bass with zucchini and pine nuts the presentation was beautiful and the fish was flavorful and cooked just right. I ordered the shrimp with homemade pasta. The presentation was amazing, made to look like a full lobster. The taste lived up to the creative presentation. Their wine selection is extensive and fairly priced. Although we didn’t order any pizza, the ones coming out of the oven looked … awesome! Back to the service… the taxi service in Como is horrible. Almost non existent at times. After multiple calls over a half hour trying to get a cab back to the hotel, the lovely and sociable restaurant owner graciously offered us a ride to our hotel in her own car! WOW! And yes, if you’re wondering, we took her up on the offer. :
Delicious food, reasonably priced in an attractive cozy restaurant just outside of the centre of Como. I had the sea bass which and my boyfriend the wild boar pasta, and we were impressed with both dishes.

This homey restaurant was recommended by TripAdvisor and filled the bill for a very nice evening. The dishes were really good, and the little dining area was rustic, yet still on trend. The service was typical for Italy as we have found. Pretty good, but if you are an American expecting anything resembling quickness, be patient. We were greeted and served our first courses promptly, but had to wait about 15 20 mins for our coffee at the end and maybe another 15 mins for the check. So just bring patience and all will be ok. It ended up being 2.5 hrs. for salad, pasta and dessert. That's Italy! Still overall, a good time.
