we had the tasting menu and the wine pairing . the ragu pasta and the tortellini with cream were excellent. really delicious and we had these dishes several times in good restaurants in the last days. some of the wee were abit young (2020-2021,) and the taste was not so big, abit disappointing. beautiful graphic labels, but not tasteful or as a pairing goes. the service was attentive.
a must in bologna! I went to oltre with my fiancée who is close friends with the owners. I had absolutely no idea what I started, but I was pleasantly surprised by the moment when I entered. owners, chef and sommelier were all attentive, knowledgeable and beautiful! the cocktails were the next stage amazing and eating was simple and elegance best. the tortellini were some of the best I ever had the tagliatelle bolognese was as good as it gets! Do you like one and go! xxx
in about 9 o'clock without reservation. barsitz. server and the bartender were all attentive. great and interesting (good) wine menu and a friendly and knowledgeable somm. I had the pasta and the dove dish. my favorite was the deaf. perfectly cooked, very delicate and full of taste. were a little less than my expectation for glass wines.

Wine is superb and the sommelier was super helpful but the food was average and simple. Not bad but not amazing. We had a la carte.
I find oltre to be an interesting restaurant and one clearly designed to attract both a younger crowd and tourists looking for more than just the typical trattoria experience. While the food and drink are nice, I’m not sure the food is as drastically different as in other places. The execution of the pasta dishes is great and maybe slightly better than a few other highly rated trattorias but again not wildly different. I found the salmon appetizer and the rose dessert a bit disappointing. While I am all for inventive reinterpretations Of classic cuisine, I find the restaurant falls short of those goals. What it has going for it is a nice cocktail program and more modern space, hard to find in bologna.
Location moderna dall’ atmosfera romantica grazie alla quasi esclusiva presenza di luci molto soffuse. Menù bolognese contenente i capisaldi della tradizione. Non ho mancato gradire tuttavia il “pescato del giorno” che nel mio caso consisteva in un filetto di ricciola con salsa di asparagi: buonissimo! Servizio cordiale e personale di sala che dedica tanta attenzione al cliente. Ho apprezzato che ci fosse una figura appositamente inserita per consigliare gli alcolici da abbinare a quanto ordinato. Prezzo caro.
