Albamare da ALBA

wonderful food, wine and service. excellent dishes to note were the calamari with tinten fish, plin pizzicati a mano, and the sottofiletto alla griglia. literal made our mouthwater. the poderi roset 2015 barolo was also fantastic, and also our server. we will definitely come back!

the food was good. for the price we paid, I would have expected a more demanding and interesting menu, but overall it cannot be missed. the service was impeccable.

an excellent foundation in the heart of the old city. the food was kreatiw, but very representative for the culinary heritage of the opposite. classic plates were re-presented in a contemporary style. I recommend this restaurant.

we visited the restaurant during alba white truffle festival. the city was very busy. the restaurant albamare was also busy. her service was excellent, however, and no haste. we enjoyed the seafood course with a bottle of wine. the foods were delicious and very fresh. the natives told me that it is not a traditional restaurant in alba, but still a great place to eat. I would highly recommend.

We booked a dinner here because nothing else was available. Service was fair to poor, they forgot our wine and our water, generally slow but that’s to be expected for most restaurants in Italy. The food was disappointing, bland pasta and dry steak. The room was very bright for a restaurant at 8:30pm, no music, no real ambiance. They are trying to be upscale and modern, but missed the mark.

Excellent meal all around. Food was exceptional and service was great. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely return during our.stay in Alba.
